Federal & Defense

Hardened endpoint and network systems for agencies, defense programs and the contractors inside their supply chain.

Home Sectors Federal & defense

Federal work sets constraints most commercial programs never face: accreditation boundaries, supply-chain provenance requirements, and systems that must function on degraded or one-way links.

Where we fit

The largest programs are integrated by the mission systems primes. Beneath and alongside them sits a great deal of work that needs the same engineering rigour at a scale a prime will not take on: a single enclave, a device family, a supplier that has to reach CMMC before it loses a contract. That is our lane.

Typical engagements

  • Hardened Linux and Unix images for government-furnished hardware
  • Custom endpoint agents for disconnected and air-gapped enclaves
  • Tactical routing firmware with a hardware root of trust
  • NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 architecture and evidence for defense suppliers
  • Cryptographic inventory and boundary documentation ahead of FIPS 140-3 review

How we talk about compliance

We build to these frameworks and produce assessor-ready evidence. We do not claim authorizations we do not hold, and we will not write them into a capability statement for you. If a solicitation requires an authorization CerbaCore does not have, we will say so on the first call rather than the week before submission.

Scope your endpoint and network architecture

Bring us the estate you actually have — mixed OS fleets, ageing routers, unmanaged IoT — and we will tell you what can be unified under one agent and what needs custom work.
